Plan a Trip to Yala
Yala National Park is Sri Lanka's most visited and second-largest national park, renowned for having one of the highest densities of leopards anywhere in the world. Beyond leopards, the park is home to elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, and a rich variety of birdlife across its mix of forest, grassland, lagoons, and coastline.
Safari jeep tours run at dawn and dusk, when wildlife is most active, and the park's ancient Sithulpawwa rock temple adds a cultural stop to the wilderness experience.
