The Central Highlands of Sri Lanka is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2010, encompassing the montane forests, cloud-covered peaks, and rolling tea estates of the island's mountainous interior, including the Peak Wilderness and Knuckles ranges.
This cooler, higher-altitude region is where much of Sri Lanka's famous tea is grown, and its winding hill roads pass through some of the most scenic landscapes on the island.
