Plan a Trip to Bundala National Park
Bundala National Park is a coastal wetland sanctuary on Sri Lanka's southern coast, designated a RAMSAR wetland of international importance and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve for its critical role as a migratory bird habitat.
Its lagoons, dunes, and scrubland attract flocks of flamingos, pelicans, and other migratory birds each winter, alongside resident elephants and crocodiles, making it a quieter alternative to Sri Lanka's more famous safari parks.
